Do I need a truck to apply? ▾
No! If you don't own a truck, you can apply as a Helper. Helpers work alongside a Hauler on every job — you provide the muscle, they provide the vehicle. Many of our best-rated helpers later get their own truck and upgrade to Hauler status.
How and when do I get paid? ▾
You get paid the same day you work. Earnings are deposited directly to your bank account within hours of completing a job. No waiting until Friday, no minimum balance — just your money, fast.
How does the background check work? ▾
We use a trusted third-party background check service. It's completely free for you, and most applicants are cleared within 24–48 hours. We check for criminal history and verify your identity. Your vehicle is also subject to a basic safety inspection.
What percentage of the job do I keep? ▾
Haulers keep 85% of every job's earnings. HaulDFW Pro takes a 15% platform fee to cover insurance, customer acquisition, payment processing, and support. Tips are always 100% yours.
Do I need to have moving experience? ▾
Experience helps but is not required. We provide onboarding guidance on best practices for loading, protecting items, and working with customers. Most new haulers get the hang of it quickly — and customer ratings will help you improve over time.
Can I work part-time or on weekends only? ▾
Absolutely. HaulDFW Pro has no minimum hour requirements. Work 5 hours a week or 50 — it's entirely your call. Many of our haulers work weekends only and still earn $400–$800 per weekend.
What kind of vehicle do I need? ▾
We accept pickup trucks, cargo vans, box trucks (16ft and 26ft). Your vehicle needs to be in good working condition and pass a basic safety check. The larger your vehicle, the higher your hourly rate.
Is there an app for haulers? ▾
Yes. Once approved, you'll download the HaulDFW Pro Hauler app (iOS and Android). From there you can go online to receive job requests, navigate to pickups, update job status, and track your earnings in real time.
